The Challenge
Cisco was facing significant issues with the Salesforce native replication tool they were using for essential reporting including the API being discontinued, and it’s inability to handle tables with millions of rows, which resuled in timeouts during data loads. As such, Cisco’s teams were struggling with multiple sandboxes with monthly refreshes.
The Solution
Sesame Software replicats data to Cisco’s Oracle database for reporting, various integration projects, and building a second Salesforce org for their teams. Sesame Software’s personalized org clone process copied 10 GB of data in just two days, allowing Cisco to easily and quickly create multiple sandboxes with up to date data for their testing and deployment processes.
Data Replication
Sesame Software facilitates bidirectional replication of all Salesforce data to a database of Cisco’s choice, with full automation of new objects, new fields, and field length increases. Sesame Software uses structured single-pass loading of data to Salesforce with parent-child relationships, and timestamp-based incremental replication. Replication can be both to and from your selected database as often as every five minutes and only copies the changes.
