Marketing Coordinator

Our marketing team is located in Sacramento. We’re looking for a  college graduate with a Bachelor’s in Business. The marketing coordinator will implement strategies to boost Sesame’s social media, web site presence, public relations, special events management, and brand awareness.

They will assist with production of collateral and artwork for marketing communications such as brochures, data sheets, and powerpoint presentations.  They will be responsible for producing content marketing about Sesame’s products which include email campaigns, public relations releases, newsletters, etc. They will also be responsible for market research and competitive analysis on Sesame’s competitors and the data integration product space.

The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate and implement trade show logistics as well as attend all trade shows and special events, approximately 10 per year. 

The marketing coordinator position will be based in either Sacramento or San Diego area, but must be willing to travel to our trade shows across the country. This position will report to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The salary for this full time position will be $40-50K dependent upon experience. Salesforce and Pardot experience a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities as requested
  • Support the in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies
  • Social media outreach - deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and email
  • Organize and attend trade shows
  • Coordinate and deliver email campaigns
  • Develop marketing communications campaigns
  • Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology marketing practices. For example, must know the difference between SEO, SEM, and SMM.
  • Comfortable running ad campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn.

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools is desirable. We use Salesforce.com and Pardot.

Technical Support Engineer

Join Sesame Software's Customer Support team and assist customers with training and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage support queue using Salesforce.com Cases
  • Collect documentation of technical issues
  • Resolve issues using existing documented solutions
  • Develop workarounds to customer issues using product features
  • Work with Development staff in problem resolution that may require bug fixes or product enhancements
  • Teach product implementation and usage to new and existing customers

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior customer-facing experience.
  • Demonstrated analytic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member as required.

Software Sales Representative

Sell Enterprise Software products to a global customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, including pipeline report.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
